Colorado Open Records Act

The Colorado Open Records Act requires that most local government records be available upon the request of members of the public. On behalf of our clients we are committed to balancing public transparency with the occasional necessity to withhold privileged information where appropriate under the law. To that end, WBA closely tracks relevant legislative changes that may impact records retention and public access, enabling our attorneys to offer practical and accurate guidance to daily records request issues. We also act as the public records custodian for many public entity clients.
